Smuggled Cigarettes Inside Pieces of Bread at the Airport Caught Thanks to the high Performance of XRC Devices

The smuggling attempt of cigarettes inside bread pieces into Turkey was frustrated at Istanbul Ataturk Airport with the help of X-Ray Center devices and the attention of the customs officers.

The smugglers tried to bring 5,000 packs of smuggled cigarettes, with a market value of approximately 5 million liras, camuflated in between rubber shoes, water barrels, snack packages and bread. Smuggled cigarettes were confiscated and criminals were detained.

Thanks to its increasingly successful performance, and outstanding imaging, X-Ray Center security devices continue to be preferred by airports.
